Insulation Snakes was invented by an oilfield worker who needed a low cost effective solution to freezing pipes. Now they are the leader and the standard for removable, reusable, weatherproof insulation that is economical and easy to use.

Initially designed for low clearance applications, the Insulation Snake Sidewinder™ is a popular and effective choice of insulation that is versatile, simple to work with, and facilitates easy access to system components. Wrap the Sidewinder™ with the attached straps and fasten into place. The straps are installed every foot and are easily secured with custom molded buckles.
Standard lengths range from 2 feet to 20 feet long and standard widths range from 1/4 inch pipe all the way up to 28 inch pipe. – Ideal for insulating oilfield surface piping, water and sewer lines. underneath manufactured homes (mobile homes), fuel gas lines, etc. – Perfect for insulating hose that is laying on the ground.
– Factory installed straps allow for quick access to any point on the line.
– Compatible with electrical heat tape.
