Special Olympics Illinois
Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 18 sports for more than 23,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and nearly 20,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities.
The need for services is great as we estimate that Special Olympics Illinois is currently serving about 10 percent of those eligible to participate and is always working to increase this reach. Individual donors account for 65 percent of our donations so we rely on people just like you to ensure that we can continue reaching out to more of those in need.
Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
ABIDE: Family Support, Youth Programs and Community Building Events
“We are better together” Abide operates on 100 percent donated funds. Help us meet and plan for the many needs of our community.
The purpose of Better Together Basketball is to raise a generation of game-changing leaders on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. A tool for transformation! Our program is centered around cultivating life-giving relationships between players, coaches who serve as mentors, and staff that extend beyond the sports season.

Wills Point Youth Sports Association
Youth sports organization for children attending school in and/or living in Wills Point, Texas.
Football, cheer/drill combo, basketball, and soccer. The Wills Point Youth Sports Association is made up of members of the community that work full-time jobs, have families/children, and other commitments that we devote our time to, just like you. We enjoy working with your kids, as well as our own. We work hard to make sure that all of our kids have a good time and a learning experience through all that they do. Most of us spend hours working to make sure that everything necessary to have a successful sport or activity is in place. While we are working volunteers, we have to pay registration fees just like everyone else and we are not compensated monetarily for our time or services—just the joy of the children’s faces in your (& ours) community. Thank you for being a part of our community, allowing us to spend time with your children
