We were having several issues with our past brand of quarry wire in one of our limestone quarries, so I called Jerry Carrier with Miles supply for some assistance. We ordered some wire from him for testing, and he also offered his assistance in the field for advice/suggestions.
When we received the [Boart & Wire*] wire, Jerry came out and spent an entire day with the quarry supervisor offering his years of expertise and knowledge. This wire reduced our cutting times by almost half and it appears so far that we should see about 30%-40% longer life out of this wire versus the previous brand.
This experience, along with many others over the years, is why we continue to use Jerry Carrier and the entire team at Miles Supply for many of our stone production needs.
